Special update part 1

Welcome to a very special update. Not the normal boring stuff but something much more interesting and INTERACTIVE!

We are trying to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research and are asking you to help.

Recently our friend Geralamo (who ran our favourite restaurant with his wife Suzanna and Great Dane, Greta!) died of cancer. We are all very sad and reminded of the other friends and family we have lost to this awful disease.

This has prompted us here at Casa del Sole to have a go at fund raising.

We have decided to do a sponsored 'Pickathon' on New Years Day.

Richard, myself and the boys will pick as many olives as possible on this day.

This is where you come in . we would like you to sponsor us for as much as you can spare and every sponsorship qualifies to enter a guess of 'how many olives did they pick on New Years Day?'. If you are in the top 20 nearest guesses we will send you a beautiful little heart shaped bottle of our new olive oil.

How do you sponsor us & qualify for free oil?
Simply go to http://www.justgiving.com/casadelsole and follow the instructions. Put your guess in numbers (eg. 15.023) at the end of your message and when we have counted up we'll let the winners know by email.

You may or may not know that Olive oil (especially top grade, organic oil like ours) has recently been recognised as potent in combating cancer cells. It doesn't matter if you rub it in or eat it - it's really good for you!
