Casa del Sole Farmhouse

The farmhouse is of typical Tuscan design dating from 1740, with all the original features carefully restored. There are chestnut beams and terracotta tiles throughout and the furniture is traditional and beautiful. If you need it, the house is fully central heated.

Every room has a stunning view across the valley. The house is detached so you have plenty of privacy.

You cannot normally drive up to your house. This is because it spoils the rural idyll for other guests (car alarms & revving at midnight etc. does not make for a tranquil holiday). However, if you are disabled and you let us know at the point of booking we are happy for you to drive to your door.

If you book out the whole of Casa del Sole (the Lodge, Chestnut House and Farmhouse) you can drive up to your door whenever you like

Entrance hall

Sitting Room:
Comfortable, with sofas, wood burning stove, TV, Videos, books, games (unlikely, but sometimes it does rain!)

Kitchen:
Large, traditional Tuscan kitchen. Enormous dining table, gas cooker,
Refrigerator, dishwasher (please use eco.wash!), all crockery & pans etc.

Library/music room:
Lots of books to keep you occupied and a piano for those of you who are musically minded.

Bathroom:
Washbasin, toilet, bidet and double sized shower. Sorry, there is no bath. This is because we draw our water from a spring which can dry up in summer therefore we need to conserve water.

Bedroom 1:
Very large airy room with emperor bed (you've never seen one this big!) and an extra single bed

Bedroom 2:
Lovely room with a king sized and single bed.

Bedroom 3:
King sized bed with large ensuite bathroom (this one has a bath – please think about your water consumption!).

Outside:
Outside terrace for al fresco dining
Shared use of pool June to September inclusive
Barbeque
Sunbathing terrace
Children's play area

Washing machine
All linen & towels (except beach towels) provided

June - September £800 per week

All the accommodation prices are based on a weeks 'self catering' holiday.
Only full weeks can be booked from Friday to Friday.
Prices are per accommodation unit - not per person.
